Interested in the ways in which inter-generational women receive knowledge and teach wisdom through everyday rituals and traditions, Wedgeworth collected and examined the forms in which personal narrative take shape (as anecdotes, sayings, lessons and beliefs about love, sex, marriage, money, child-rearing), the power these narratives carry and how they inform, shape and direct women as new roles are assumed. In exchange for a narrative, each participant received a project ARTifact: a hand-printed tote bag to use during their daily rituals with a call to action to Teach Your Daughters Well.
